Personally I'm not sure what difference the company in the middle makes.
I have no relationship with Columbia, the middle man or you. By the
terms of Columbia's license, I am allowed to provide a fix to any
organization that is permitted to run the software. You either have a
license to run the software or you don't.
You can obtain the fix and I will brand the software to exactly the
same license that the current version you are using is branded to.
